Top 11 Must-Have Carry-On Essentials for Stress-Free Travel

Are you tired of scrambling to find essential items for your carry-on bag before every trip? Look no further! In this blog post, I'll share with you my top 11 practical travel essentials that will make your journey smoother and more enjoyable. These carry-on essentials will ensure you have everything you need within reach. Say goodbye to travel stress and hello to hassle-free adventures!

1.  Passport Organizer & Wallet, $12

Keep your passport, identification, and travel documents in a secure and easily accessible place. I love this affordable passport organizer  that lets you keep it all together.  I like to keep my Covid Vaccination, Travel Immunization records and a couple of credit cards in here. I sneak in my travel insurance info and any baggage tags in here when necessary.

2.  Compact Medicine Bag, $10

I keep comfort in having the essentials in my carry on, everything else can go in the roller suitcase. We’re taking hand cream, some lip balm and any medications I might need. I tuck in some travel size Advil for those unavoidable headaches. Sanitary Wet Ones are great to wipe down my seat and tray before settling in for a long flight. These travel size Neutrogena Face Wipes are great to have in hand and keep you feeling refreshed.

3.  Apple Air Pro Noise Canceling Headphones, $199

These are my new favorite travel essential. My husband swears by the Bose Quiet Comfort Headphones, but I prefer how compact and light weight the Apple Air Pros are.

4.  AirFly Pro, $55

If you’re flying and want to watch the movies on the plane the AirFly Pro is a must. This little baby lets you use your own wireless headphones while enjoying the free movies on your flight. Game changer, no more uncomfortable plastic airplane headphones with cords getting wrapped everywhere.

5.  Paper White Kindle, $109.

My husband and I love our Kindles. We bought them as gifts for each other before our honeymoon and now take them on every trip. The waterproof feature makes them perfect for a pool or beach outing. I love sitting in a floaty and finishing a good book.

6.  Cushioned Eye Mask, $17 and Reusable Silicone Earplugs, $8.

I was given these as a gift and it has elevated my travel experience.  This cushioned eye mask is comforting for those long flights, it nicely seals the light out without being too constrictive.  This combo is the ultimate pair if you plan on sleeping on a long flight.

7.  Drunk Elephant Retinol Anti-Wrinkle Cream, $74

As grow older, I’ve accepted the fact that skin care is going to have to be a part of my life. This brightening and restorative cream is gentle enough for my sensitive skin and keeps me looking young. This 1oz little bottle passes TSA regulations for carry-ons. I know $74 can sound expensive, but a little bit goes a long way.

8.  Supportive Neck Pillow, $59

I don’t carry a pillow with me on every trip, but I like this one for the long flights and red eye flights. I was so happy when I found this neck pillow that doesn’t suck! It has soft fabric and gives your neck great support.

9.  Compression Socks, $22

I like the fuzzy socks for comfort, but I transitioned to knee high compression socks and don’t think I’ll turn back. Having a nice hug around your feet is surprisingly comfortable and I hate when my feet get swollen and achy after sitting for long periods. I recently tried these ankle compression socks and I think they work great.

10.  Reusable Water Bottle, 45.

There is no reason to pay the inflated prices for bottled water at the airport. I am a HydroFlask girly and alternate between the 24 oz, Flex Straw Cap and the Wide Mouth HydroFlask.

11.   Portable Charger, $21

Keep your devices charged with a portable charger, ensuring you can never miss out on the movies you were planning on watching or the phone games you were planning to keep you entertained.
